Uniform Care
- Product Description
Wash with Care:
Proper washing is essential for maintaining school uniforms. Always check the care label and instructions before washing. Some uniforms require cold water, while others can be washed in warm water. Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent to prevent fading and fabric damage. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners as they can harm the fabric and affect the color. Instead, opt for a stain remover specifically designed for school uniforms. Additionally, always wash dark colors separately to prevent color bleeding.
Hang Dry:
To avoid damaging the fabric and causing shrinkage, it's best to hang school uniforms to air dry. Use a hanger or a clothesline and keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. If you need to use a dryer, choose a low heat setting and remove the uniforms promptly once they are dry.
Iron with Care:
Ironing school uniforms can give them a crisp, clean look, but it’s important to do so with caution. Always check the care label and set the iron to the appropriate temperature. Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric and prevent burning or scorching. Iron the uniform while it’s still slightly damp, making it easier to remove wrinkles. Start with the collar and work your way down, ironing each section carefully. Avoid pressing too hard or leaving the iron in one place for too long.
