The story of McKenna’s of Dingle begins in 1605, serving generations along Ireland’s Atlantic coast. In the early 1900s, the family’s drapery and grocery became a cornerstone of Dingle town life.
Known for smoked mackerel exported to San Sebastián and Mrs. Mary McKenna’s homemade baking, the shop earned a special place in the local community.
Still family-run today, McKenna’s continues its tradition of quality and warm service on the Wild Atlantic Way.
At Dingle Woollen Company, we carry this heritage forward by selling authentic Irish knitwear and traditional Aran sweaters from the heart of Dingle.
